The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection with the deaths of three people found inside a car Saturday morning.
Gerrard Lasalle McLean, aka “Pimp”, of Nutgrass Road, Bunnlevel has been charged with three felony counts of Death by Distribution. The 33 year-old suspect remains in the Harnett County Detention Center under a $1 million secured bond.
Deputies and EMS found Brittany Shaw, 27, of Spring Lake; Laketa Vinston, 31, of Bunnlevel; and Ervin Bass, 44, of Bunnlevel dead inside a car parked behind a home on Nutgrass Road after responding to a 7:37am 911 Call.
Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats said the preliminary investigation indicates the deaths were a result of a possible narcotics overdose. An autopsy will be performed on all three victims.
