A Hoke County man is facing new charges from Clayton Police. On Monday, detectives with the Clayton Police Department filed five additional charges against Roderick Kirk Harry Jr., 23, of 5207 Stonegate Drive in Raeford.
The new charges are all felonies, including three counts of statutory rape and two counts of statutory sex offense. They resulted from a joint investigation by the Clayton Police Department and the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office. Harry already faced charges stemming from an incident that occurred Jan. 16. He was booked into the Johnston County Jail on a $50,000 unsecured bond.
John Hamlin, Assistant Public Information Officer, with the Town of Clayton said no additional details would be released because the victim in the case is a juvenile.
