Suspect Charged With Trafficking After Months-Long Narcotics Probe

Five-Month Undercover Drug Investigation Leads To Trafficking Arrest

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A five-month undercover narcotics investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Johnston County man on more than two dozen drug-related charges.

Kevin Patrick White Jr., 27, of Raynor Sands Drive, Dunn (a Johnston County address), was arrested June 2 by narcotics agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

According to authorities, investigators conducted an undercover operation during which agents allegedly purchased oxycodone pills from White on multiple occasions.

The investigation culminated with a traffic stop in the Four Oaks area. During the stop, agents reportedly seized suspected marijuana from the vehicle.

Following his arrest, White was charged with 26 drug-related offenses, including 10 counts of trafficking in opium or heroin.

White was given a $150,000 secured bond. Court records indicate he was assigned a court-appointed attorney.
