BENSON – The suspect in a weekend shooting at a Benson-area nightclub is in custody. Noah Syncere Rosa surrendered without incident around 2:00pm today (Thursday) at the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office in Smithfield.
Rosa is accused of shooting Alan Pascual, age 23, of Angier in the parking lot of The Junction, at 791 Tarheel Road, around 1:30am Sunday, Jan. 21.
Pascual was rushed to WakeMed with serious injuries.
Rosa, age 19, of Goldsboro is charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is being held in the Johnston County Detention Center without privilege of bond.
