Suspect Nabbed In Larceny Case

SMITHFIELD – Isaac Paul Lambert, age 34, of Kinston, NC is facing criminal charges in Johnston County.

On July 7, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office charged Lambert with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and two counts of felony larceny.

On March 18, deputies responded to Galilee Road to investigate the theft of a Ford F-450 truck, gooseneck trailer, and Case loader owned by Nutrien Ag Solutions in Kenly. The equipment had been parked in a field on Galilee Road and was last known to be at the location on March 16.

The stolen items were recovered later that week off Morehead Drive, Willow Spring, in western Johnston County.

Authorities said Lambert was developed as a suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest on July 3.

Lambert was held under a $90,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
