Suspect Pawned Item Stolen In Vehicle Break-In, JCSO Says

FOUR OAKS – A Four Oaks man was arrested July 15th, nine days after he allegedly broke into a truck and stole four power tools.   The break-in occurred on Barewood Drive outside the Four Oaks town limits.

Quamel Raleek Collins, 21, of Saw Mill Drive, was arrested by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly pawned a stolen nail gun at a business in Benson.

Collins was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny.  Collins was held on a $45,000 secured bond.

Property crime detectives recovered the stolen nail gun. They are still working to recover the remaining power tools valued at $220.
