An accused drug dealer is off the streets and behind bars. Tavius Devonta Jackson, of Barnes Lane in Dunn, was arrested on January 28 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.
Jackson had been under investigation for approximately three months for the alleged sale of cocaine in Johnston County. During this period, he reportedly traveled to various locations in Smithfield, Four Oaks, and Benson to sell drugs to undercover agents. A warrant for his arrest was issued, and Jackson was apprehended on the charges on January 28.
His felony charges include maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a controlled substance.
Jackson is being held under a $100,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
Again, great job to the JCSO. I wonder how many lives you just saved. As for you Jackson, I can understand your hair standing up. Shocked, I would bet!
Stop putting it out on the streets. Setting people up. Well makes you look
good.
