The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance images of a suspect wanted for a Jan. 13th break-in at GALOT Motorsports at 555 Dragstrip Road outside of Benson.
The lone suspect arrived at the facility around 2:20am last Sunday morning driving a silver four door passenger car believed to be a Pontiac G6.
He pried open a gate then broke into a restaurant area. Video cameras show the suspect calmly walking through the business an attempt to open an ATM machine then a cash drawer. The suspect left without taking anything but he did cause about $3,500 in damage. Officers did seize some hand tools he left behind.
The suspect is believed to be a white male about 6 feet tall.
