Suspect Wanted For Residential Break-In And Theft From Convenience Store

JOHNSTON COUNTY – Authorities have identified a suspect wanted for two separate crimes.

On April 18, 2023, a man later identified as Tavarius Raheem Snead reportedly stole a number of lottery tickets from a convenience store in the I-40/NC 42 area and left in a red Chevy Cruze.

On May 5, 2023 around 3:30pm, Snead allegedly kicked in the side door to a home on Yelverton Grove Road near Smithfield then fled in what appears to be the same red car.

Once located, Tavarius Snead will be charged with several offenses including felony breaking and entering, and larceny.
