KENLY – An ongoing investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a suspect on multiple drug charges.
On May 24, narcotic agents conducted a search warrant in the 1300 block of Princeton-Kenly Road and arrested Kayla Savannah Harris, age 21, of Church Street, Angier.
During the search, approximately 46 pills, believed to be fentanyl, were seized. Agents also located multiple folded dollar bills with blue powder residue.
Harris was charged with six counts of trafficking in opium or heroin, two counts of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a schedule two controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Harris was transported to the Johnston County Detention Center and held on a $300,000 secured bond.
