Smithfield Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a clerk at a Smithfield business. Officers responded to the armed robbery at 5:03PM Tuesday at 301 Smoke and Vapor located at 600 South Brightleaf Boulevard.
Two black males, both in their 20’s, entered the business. One of the men produced a handgun and stole a lock box from the clerk containing an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects then fled on foot.
