SUV Overturns In Parking Lot

Smithfield Police are investigating an accident that occurred Friday afternoon.

A vehicle overturned at the intersection of Brogden Road and Wal-Pat Road, knocking down a large sign in the parking lot of a Citgo convenience store. 

One person was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. However damage to the vehicle and sign were extensive.

Smithfield fire crews has to stabilize the vehicle and assist the driver out of the overturned SUV.  Photos by JoCoFire.com
