SUV Overturns On Highway 301

FOUR OAKS – A single vehicle accident temporarily blocked US Highway 301 south of Four Oaks Monday afternoon. The accident was reported around 3:30pm just north of Parkertown Road.

One person received minor injuries after their SUV struck a ditchbank and overturned, blocking both lanes. A fire hydrant was damaged in the accident.

Four Oaks Police are investigating. Johnston County EMS and the Four Oaks Fire Department also responded.
