The Highway Patrol is investigating a serious crash Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:00pm, a vehicle ran off the 600 block of US70 East of Selma. The SUV ran through the grassy shoulder before striking a ditch bank and flipping over a fence.
Firefighters arrived and found the fence intact and not damaged. They had to cut the fence to get to the SUV then use the Jaws of Life to cut the female driver from the badly damaged vehicle.
