FOUR OAKS – Two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision this morning on Highway 301 North of Four Oaks. The 11:30am accident occurred in front of Holts Lake Gas & Grill.
A GMC van traveling southbound was reportedly struck from behind by a GMC SUV pulling a trailer. The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries. No one in the van was injured.
One lane of Highway 301 was temporarily closed.
Four Oaks Police are still investigating the accident. Four Oaks EMS and the Four Oaks Fire Department responded.
