Teen Awaiting Trial For Indecent Liberties Rearrested For Same Offense

A teen facing previous charges of indecent liberties was arrested by Dunn Police for the same offense after parents of a young child reported an incident at the Highway Inn on Spring Branch Road.

Brandon-Parker-FIEighteen-year-old Brandon Parker was on pre-trial release for previous charges of indecent liberties with a child when he reportedly kidnapped and released a boy whose family was staying in the same motel.

Police say the child and his parents were staying at the motel while their mobile home was being set up. The parents reported the incident to Dunn Police.

Mr. Parker was arrested by the Harnett County Sheriff’s deputies last September on charges of indecent liberties with a child. According to reports, the incident, reported in late July 2015, occurred in a wooded area off Kelly Lane in Coats. Sheriff’s Major Jeff Huber said the male victim was younger than 12 years old.
