A Smithfield teenager was injured during an armed robbery at her home. The incident was reported at 1:00am this morning (Thursday) on Bonnie Avenue in the Brogden community.
The 17 year-old victim said a suspect armed with a handgun took her Apple iPhone and 8 firearms. The woman sustained minor injuries during the incident.
Johnston County Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said detectives have been assigned to the case and investigators have a person of interest.
