A teenager arrested Monday in connection with multiple car break-ins in one subdivision is now facing additional charges.
The car break-ins were discovered Monday morning in the Parrish Farms Subdivision off Watson Road. A Johnston County SAFE Team deputy was on patrol in the area several hours later and conducted a traffic stop. Inside the car the officers reportedly spotted some of the items that had been stolen from the vehicles.
Cody Thomas Inman, 19, of Mac Lane, Angier was initially charged with 15 car break-ins. However, deputies announced Thursday that five additional vehicles were discovered broken into and new charges have now been filed in connection with those. That brings the total number of vehicle break-ins linked to Inman to 20.
Inman was initially held under a $106,000 bond. After the latest charges, his bail was increased to $210,000.
