SELMA – A teenager was shot and killed Wednesday night. Selma Police detectives and the NC State Bureau of Investigation are jointly investigating the death which is being treating as a homicide.
Police Chief W.M. Thomas said officers were dispatched at 10:34pm to a report of shots being fired in the 500 block of S. Raiford Street. Police located the victim at 610 S. Raiford Street.
Chief Thomas said the victim had been shot. No further details are being released. The name of the victim is being withheld because they are a juvenile.
