KENLY – Two teenagers were arrested a short time after the allegedly broke into a storage barn and attempted to steal a Suzuki ATV. Around 10:45pm Friday, a homeowner on Bald Eagle Lane outside of Kenly reported that he saw three suspects break into a shed behind his residence. He confronted the suspects. Two fled in a car and one ran away on foot.
The two suspects in the vehicle were stopped in the Kenly city limits a few minutes later. A key to the ATV they allegedly tried to steal was recovered in their possession.
Jaelon Keon Williams, 18, of Madison Avenue, Princeton and Olatunji Keshaun Massey, 19, of E. Silverado Court, Kenly were charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Williams was booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $25,000 bond. Massey was incarcerated in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
The third suspect has not been arrested.
