Johnston County Schools 10th day enrollment numbers indicate that 35,484 students were enrolled in classes last Friday. Tenth day enrollment is the official enrollment number for the school system for the 2016-17 school year.
On the tenth day of school for the 2015-16 school term there were 34,922 students enrolled. Friday’s number represents an increase of 562 students.
On the opening day of school on August 29th, 34,029 students attended classes, which was up from 32,931 on the opening day last year, an increase of 1,098 students in grades K-12.
Twelve school campuses in Johnston County have 1,000 or more students enrolled. The largest is Corinth Holders High with 1,809 students enrolled last Friday.
