The 2015 Four Oaks Acorn Festival will be held on May 15th and 16th. The Festival is an annual event of the Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce.
The festival will start on Friday night, May 15th with a concert by Carolina Tradition Bluegrass at Barbour’s Grove Park.
Saturday, May 16th begins with a 10am parade of children from Four Oaks Elementary School to the Four Oaks Town Hall, followed by the Acorn Festival parade at 10:30 am on Main Street.
Rides will be located on South Railroad Street. The cost is $1 for a single ride ticket, $5 for pony rides and unlimited ride bands for $10.
Vendors, food, and other exhibits will be located on Railroad Street and Barbour’s Grove Park.
Entertainment begins at 12 Noon with the Martin Davis Beach Band, “Dr. T-Bone” Tommy Tucker, Bobby Adams & Carlie Barbour and others.
Acorn Festival Raffle Ticket are on sale for $5 each for a chance to win $5,000. The drawing will be held on May 16th.
