There are no suspects following a break-in at a rural Johnston County church.
Members of a midday prayer meeting group at the Mt. Calvary Holiness Church discovered a break-in around Noon on Wednesday at their place of worship located at 114 Lakeview Drive outside of Four Oaks.
The church had been used for Bible Study Tuesday evening and everything was fine when the facility was locked up for the night.
Among the items taken were a Sony 60 inch TV, Fender guitar, Peavey amplifier, glass decoration, four 24 packs of soft drinks and 3 boxes of green tea. The items were valued at $1,434. Johnston County deputies said it appeared entry was made through a side door which sustained about $100 in damage.
