Thieves Break Into Deceased Man’s Business

Authorities are looking for a burglar, with apparently no conscience, who broke into a deceased man’s business.

Christopher Lee Parrish, a former member of the Pine Level Fire Department and 1995 graduate of North Johnston High School, died suddenly on November 24th at the age of 39. Parrish had owned and operated Parrish’s Auto Repair for the past 10 years.

Due to his death his repair shop on Edwards Road in Princeton was closed for several days. While the shop was closed someone broke in stealing nearly $6,000 in equipment.

Among the items taken were impact guns, air tools, and a tire pressure sensor valued at $2,200.

A report was filed with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. The case has been assigned to the detectives division.   Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office at 919-989-5000.
