Thieves Steal Items From New Home Construction Sites

GARNER – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts from two new home construction sites. The larcenies were discovered May 30 at two adjacent building sites on Artic Circle, Garner, off Cornwallis Road in western Johnston County.

Unknown persons stole electrical wiring, copper gas lines, and HVAC line sets from the two homes.

The cost to replace the stolen wiring and lines was estimated at $12,000 from one home and $9,000 at the second location.

Both homes are owned by Caruso Homes of Maryland.
