Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats says officers responded to Harnett Central Middle School this morning (Friday) following a threat of violence.
In a press release, authorities said the threat was written on a boys bathroom wall in the school and was discovered by a student.
Deputies immediately responded and are working with Harnett Central Middle School officials. Authorities did not disclose the specific threat written on the bathroom wall.
