An adult and two children – including a 5 year-old – escaped from their burning home Thursday afternoon in western Johnston County.
Fire ripped through the home in the 1400 block of Honeycutt Road off White Memorial Church Road in the Willow Spring community.
The Elevation, 50-210 and West Johnston Fire Departments responded and put out the flames. 50-210 EMS also stood by at the scene.
We’re told that everyone made it out of the home without injury. The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the victims.
