CLEVELAND – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart, on NC Highway 42 West, following a shoplifting complaint called in by loss prevention.
A customer reportedly failed to pay for several items at the self checkout. Those items included Christmas lights and a tree topper valued at $101.91.
A 25 year-old Raleigh woman was issued at citation for misdemeanor larceny and released at the scene. The items were returned to Walmart.
