The Johnston County Register of Deeds Office has released the top 10 names of babies born in Johnston County last year.
Register of Deeds Craig Olive said 1,474 babies were born in the county in 2014.
The top 10 names for boys were: Ayden/Aiden, Elijah/Eli, Mason, Noah, Jacob, Jayden, Mathew, James, Angel, and Austin.
The top 10 names for girls were: Madison, Allison, Mia, Ava, Avery, Brooklyn, Kaylee, Sophia, and Addison. Tied for 10th place were three names, Isabella, Audrey and Elizabeth.
The most babies were born in May (144), followed by January (131), September (136), October (133), July (126), August (125), April (123), November (122), June (111), February (109), December (108), and March (106).
