Town Board Awards $212,840 Truck Bid

The Smithfield Town Council has awarded a $212,840 bid for the purchase of a 2020 International hook lift truck with a leaf box.

Carolina Industrial Equipment of Charlotte was the low bidder.  The truck will be used by the Public Works – Sanitation Department.

The council voted unanimously to purchase the truck.
