The Town of Selma announced Friday afternoon they will cancel some events due to concerns over the coronavirus.
“Please know the health and well-being of our community remains our top priority, and we are working to bring you the latest information regarding the Town’s operation, programs, and activities. The Town continues to work closely and maintain consistent communication with Johnston County Public Health and Office of Emergency Management. The Town is also in communication with the School District,” officials said in a news release.
The following scheduled programs and activities in the Town of Selma are now canceled:
- Youth indoor soccer games and practices from March 13 – April 6
- Youth baseball, t-ball, wee-ball, and girls softball player assessments and team practices from March 13 – April 6
- Adult Co-Ed Softball practices and games are canceled from March 13 – April 6
- Senior BINGO March 17 at McDonalds
- Senior Pickle Ball March 18, 25, and April 1
All other Town operations, facilities and programs not listed are continuing as normal.
