The Smithfield Town Council approved three board appointments during their March 2020 meeting:
- Keith Dimsdale was appointed to the Smithfield Board of Adjustment
- James Foy was reappointed to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission
- Crystal Roberts was reappointed to the Public Library Board of Trustees
