The Smithfield Town Council made the following appointments during their March 2021 meeting:
- Steve Upton was reappointed to his 4th term on the Board of Adjustment
- Earl Marett was reappointed to his 6th term on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee
- Tim Johnson was reappointed to his 3rd term on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee
- Michael “Sloan” Stevens Jr. was appointed to the Planning Board
- Connie Barbour was appointed to the Library Board of Directors
