The Town of Wilson’s Mills is accepting applications for a vacancy on the town council. On Monday, Mayor Jim Uzzle Jr. resigned suddenly. Town Councilman Phillip Wright was appointed as mayor to fill out the unexpired term of mayor ending in December 2021.
The town council is now accepting applications to fill Mr. Wright’s council seat. The Town will receive applications for the position through 4:00pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Printed copies are available at Town Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am until 5:00pm.
Completed applications should be returned to Town Administrator Leighanna Worley prior to the March 31st deadline.
