Three people were injured after a tractor trailer and car collided Monday on US 70 at North Pearl Street in Princeton.
A truck carrying concrete blocks and mortar mix was traveling eastbound on US 70 when it collided with a black Chevy passenger car that may have pulled into the path of the truck.
Two people in the car were taken to Wake Medical Center. The driver of the truck was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Both east and westbound lanes of US 70 were temporarily blocked after the 7:00am crash. The NC Highway Patrol is investigating. Photos by John Payne
