WILSON’S MILLS – A tractor trailer and pickup truck collided in the eastbound lanes of Highway 70 near Sadisco Road just before 10:00am today (Wednesday). After the collision, the semi ran off the roadway on the right, traveled onto a service road for an auto salvage business, drove back to the left through a fence, reentered the eastbound lanes of Highway 70, then crashed into a median guardrail.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the State Highway Patrol. There was no information immediately available on injuries.
Johnston County EMS and the Wilson’s Mills Fire Department responded to the scene.
