Traffic Stop For Broken Taillight Leads To Felony Arrest

BENSON – A routine traffic stop turned into a felony drug arrest. Around 3:00am Thursday, June 20 a Johnston County deputy sheriff stopped a vehicle on NC 210 near McGee’s Crossroads for a broken taillight.

During the traffic stop, the deputy reportedly found 89 grams of methamphetamine, 40 grams of fentanyl, 14 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of marijuana, and 3-1/2 doses of Xanax.

Izabella Grajeda Fuentes, age 31, of Fuquay Varina was arrested on 13 charges including trafficking a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance, and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance.

  1. Sound like she was dealing, with all that drugs. Great job to the Johnston County Deputys who had this situation. Got that trash of the streets and when I say trash I mean the drugs and the girl. I just hope some judge does not let her out on $500 bond! Again, GREAT job Deputies.
