The Max G. Selma Historical Museum will present a tribute to the late Gloria Vnderbilt at “Sweet Tea and Spicy Talk” on Wednesday July 10th at 11:00 AM.
According to Eric Jackson, host of the event, “Gloria Vanderbilt was an American Icon. Her life was one of highs and lows but throughout it she remained positive.”
“Gloria Vanderbilt, member of the American Dynasty family was a fashion and cultural dynamo, her death last month was mourned by millions”, added Jackson.
The tribute will be held as the kickoff of the Museum’s summer program.
“Sweet Tea and Spicy Talk will take place at 11:00AM on four Wednesday’s in July. “There will be a talk of historical importance” Jackson said.
“This is the second year of this event. It was so popular we are bringing it back this summer,” he said. “Sweet Tea and Spicy Talk is a community event that brings our neighbors together, for cold iced tea, cookies, conversation and fellowship.”
