FOUR OAKS – The State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash in the 8800 block of Highway 210 outside of Four Oaks. The wreck was reported around 5:20pm Monday.
The driver of a silver pickup was headed west on Highway 210 when they drove off the right side of the road then crossed the centerline and struck a large tree on the left side of the road.
According to witnesses, the driver was unconscious at the scene and was transported by ambulance to Wake Med in Raleigh for treatment.
