SAMPSON COUNTY – Two brothers were gunned down in Sampson County. Around 11:30pm Saturday, the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired at the Brentwood Court Apartments in Roseboro.
Deputies located two male victims in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. Officers initiated lifesaving measures on both victims until paramedics arrived but were unsuccessful. Both men were pronounced dead on scene.
The victims were identified as siblings, Frederick Dixon, age 46, of N. Pine Street, Roseboro, NC and Leo Dixon, age 40, of Pitchfork Lane, Salemburg.

Prayers go out to their family, I can’t imagine losing two brothers at once. It’s so sad.
