Two Charged With Northern Johnston County Break-Ins

JCSO-Burglery-1Two people were arrested Thursday afternoon after they allegedly broke into a home in Archer Lodge. 

Cesar Sanchez, 21, of Jones Court, Smithfield and Jorman Joel Alvear, 18, of Leah Circle, Clayton were apprehended by Johnston County deputies and a Smithfield Police K-9 shortly after authorities said they committed a burglary in 6700 block of Covered Bridge Road in Archer Lodge.  The suspects parked their car in a nearby church parking lot but were forced to flee on foot after being detected by a concerned citizen who fired a shot into the air.    

Sanchez and Alvear were also linked to a break-in that occurred Wednesday in the 200 block of Davis Road, Zebulon, in northern Johnston County. 

Both suspects are facing breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, and conspiracy charges.  Sanchez was also charged with failing to appear in court in 2014 on two misdemeanor drug charges.
