The Highway Patrol investigated a 3 car accident at the intersection of Buffalo Road and Fire Department Road. It happened Tuesday evening.
A Sheriff’s Office deputy drove up on the scene and immediately began directing traffic, but the flood of cars at that time of day quickly led to long backups in all directions.
Two minor injuries were reported. All three cars were towed from the scene.
The intersection is a frequent location for crashes, according to neighbors.
The accident was caused when a driver turned into the path of an oncoming car. This type of accident is not unusual at this location.
