The Johnston County Board of Education recognized Corinth Holders High School student Sarah Freeman for being one of two JCPS students who were selected for All-Nationals Choir at their Aug. 14 meeting. Clayton High student Tyler Ellis was also selected for All-Nationals Choir but was unable to attend the meeting.
Being selected for the choir is a year-long effort that requires eligibility to the all-county choir, concert participation, and an audition video for all-state.
Students are also required to audition for Nationals and write a short essay about their desire for earning a spot.
