The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a business break-in discovered at a Princeton business.
Around 5:00am Wednesday an employee at Blue Water Sand and Gravel at the rock quarry on Williford Road discovered an office and several storage containers were broken into. Numerous items were taken including a laptop computer, TV, camera, scales, fire extinguisher, shop equipment and tools. Also taken was a Ford F-550 service truck and a Chevy Silverado truck.
Combined the stolen trucks and equipment were valued at $54,860.
Deputies believe the theft happened sometime between 6:30pm Tuesday and 5:00am Wednesday.
