FOUR OAKS – The State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle accident reported around 11:30am Saturday. It happened at the intersection of US 701 South and Strickland’s Crossroads Road.
A white Ram pickup and black Chevy pickup collided at the intersection.
A total of eight people, including several small children, were evaluated at the scene for minor injuries. One person was transported to the hospital by Johnston County EMS.
The Strickland’s Crossroads Fire Department provided traffic control until the intersection was reopened.
