Smithfield – United Community Bank is pleased to announce that Amy Vause has been named manager of its Smithfield location. In her new role, Vause will be responsible for the oversight of the branch’s day-to-day operations.
“Amy’s presence has been critical to our success for more than a decade, and she is well-deserving of this new title,” said Jeff Pope, President of United Community Bank – Johnston County. “She has experienced nearly every asset of the bank and continues to progress. Amy is truly a valuable asset to the Smithfield operation.”
Vause began her career with Four Oaks Bank in 2006 (Four Oaks Bank became United Community Bank in 2017). She has served in various roles, including Teller and Customer Service Representative, in the bank’s Clayton, Cleveland and Benson locations. Vause is a Johnston County native and 2001 graduate of Clayton High School.
“Being granted the opportunity to lead our Smithfield team is very rewarding,” said Amy. “United has laid the groundwork for a successful and sustained future in our community. I look forward to continuing to grow with this bank and to serving my hometown.”
Vause and her husband Justin, a Selma K-9 officer, reside in the Cleveland area with their daughter Addison. She is an avid member of the Central Johnston Rotary Club in Smithfield and other functions of her local Chamber of Commerce.
