A Johnston County couple is facing child abuse charges. Harold Eugene Egleston III, 41, and Catharine Lynn Egelston, 48, both of Pebblebrook Circle, Clayton were both charged by Johnston County deputies.
Deputies and social workers went to the couple’s home and allegedly found “unsanitary house conditions” their children were living in that prompted the charges.
The couple was arrested Feb. 5th on 3 counts each of misdemeanor child abuse. No additional details were released by officers because of juveniles being involved.
