Johnston County officials announced Tuesday afternoon they will only accept Hurricane Florence storm related debris and yard waste at the Johnston County Landfill.
The Landfill will waive landfill tipping fees for Hurricane Florence storm related debris and yard waste.
On Monday, the county said they would also accept storm debris at Convenient Sites but on Tuesday updated that information saying Convenience Sites would not be accepting storm debris and yard waste, only the landfill off Highway 210 near Smithfield.
In addition, the County will also waive building and permit fees at the Johnston County Building Inspections Department for storm related damage until further notice.
