US 70 Resurfacing To Close Lanes At Night

One lane in each direction on U.S. 70 will remain open overnight

Motorists in Selma will encounter nightly lane closures when a resurfacing project on US 70 in Johnston County begins Wednesday, Sept. 27 (tonight).

The NC Department of Transportation is repaving a half-mile section of US 70 between US 301 and Interstate 95 in Selma. The work will include milling away the old asphalt and restriping the roadway.

One lane will close in either direction nightly starting at 8:30pm and continuing until 6am.

The DOT expects the work to be completed by Friday, October 6th.
