Vandalism Reported At School, Church
Detectives with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office are investigating two vandalism incidents. On February 12, a priest at Saint Ann Catholic Church, at 4057 US Highway 70 Business West, Clayton, reported someone had vandalism a bathroom stall. Authorities are looking into whether juveniles may be responsible.
On February 13, deputies responded to South Johnston High School, at 103801 US Highway 301 South, Four Oaks where the principal reported a welcome sign and digital sign were both spray painted with graffiti and profanity. The total damage at the school was estimated at $3,500.
Authorities said the two incidents are not connected.
